Light points will use less power and will be supplyed with solar energy. The city council will install around 500 ecologic street light in the Saler natural park to answer the needs of the neighborhood, without damaging the flora and fauna of the natural park. The project will take place during the following six months and the budget is of 1.6 millions of euros. The street lights will be placed on the access roads to the Saler neighborhood and in the most dark points and where there is continuous transit of neighbours.
The street lights will be covered by wood, so that the steel columns will not be visible. Besides the street lights, the project contemplates the installation of three vegetable screens that will protect the most sensitive areas of the natural park where the light points will be placed. So the light will not affect the fauna and flora of the protected area. |
